Helen Loera Stephens
Known by many in the community as Mrs. Helen Jan. 11, 1947 - Aug. 24, 2008 Resident of Pleasant Hill. Helen was a resident of Contra Costa County for 55 years. She passed away on Sunday at the age of 61 years old. She was an employee of the Mount Diablo Unified School District for 23 years. Helen is survived by her partner of 16 years Mike Cala, mother Ramona Loera, brothers James and Thomas (Linda), daughter Yvonne Thompson (Mickey), son Wayne Stephens (Kate); grandchildren Tyler, Trevan and Kaylie. Friends and family are invited to a memorial services on Thursday September 4th, 2007, at 11:00 am at the Moore's Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be sent to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, 910 17th Street, N.W., Suite 1190, Washington, D.C. 20006.
